Dominic was most happy spending time with his family, loving and being loved by his wife Alexa and beautiful daughter Sydney. Dom lived a life of service to all: the community, his friends, and his family, and found fulfillment when sharing his time, talents, spirit, and humor with anyone in need.

In 1993, Dom began a long and distinguished career as a firefighter and paramedic in the cities of Poway, Oceanside, and Santa Monica. He ultimately retired from the Santa Monica Fire Department in March 2023. During his career, he touched numerous lives serving these communities, dwarfed only by his dedication to supporting friends and family in times of need.

Throughout his life, Dom built authentic connections with numerous communities: firefighters, Land Cruiser enthusiasts, neighbors, travel pals, and surf buddies. Anyone who connected with Dom felt the impact of his genuine interest in their happiness and well-being and witnessed the joy he experienced from helping others with anything - both small and large.

 

In so many ways, Dom was generous with his time and spirit and truly lived to help others live their best lives. Whether he was helping a neighbor with a DIY fix at home, working with a fellow “cruiser nerd” on a major renovation project, or helping his darling daughter Syd with a school project, Dom openly and generously shared his love, joy, and talents.
